G.ICE Storm 1.0 GoreTex is ideal in extreme cold weather conditions or in rain
Upper: combines the high breathability G.active airflow microfibre to the Gore-Tex® Duratherm® membrane. This combination offers breathability, impermeability, thermal insulation even in the most intense cold conditions. Elasticized and water repellant collar with adjustable closure for maximum insulation, rear loop for easy fit and reflex inserts to increase safety in conditions of reduced visibility. Anti-abrasion reinforcements in the tip and side areas.
Midsole: Highly insulating with the addition of thermo reflective aluminum, is placed between the sole and the upper and creates a thermal barrier, allowing the foot to remain warm and dry.
Heel: Anti-slip and anatomical
Closure System: BOA Fit System with the IP-1 dial platform for a fast, effortless, precision fit and a uniform closure over the entire frontal area of the shoe.
Inner Sole: Anatomic with support in the tarsal area to ensure comfort and efficiency in pedaling.
GAERNE EPS CARBON POWER SOLE is made of nylon reinforced with carbon fibers to grant superior rigidity. The ultra-thin thickness decreases the distance between the foot and pedal, allowing for optimal power output. Non-slip rubber inserts in the front and rear of the sole provide stability off the bike. Compatible with most available quick-release pedals.
