The CX332 is a Classical Design with Modern elements such as Dual BOA closure and a lightweight carbon sole system. The CX332 also draws from the same Thermaform as found in the CX403.

CX/TX RACE Last – Featuring a slightly narrower toe box & tighter heel than the Competition last and less overall volume than the Sport last. Designed for very high-cadence riding & higher pressure and a slimmer fit.

OUTSOLE

Lake Race 100% Carbon Fiber Sole. Available in 3 hole cleat pattern.
The CX332 utilizes Lake's patant double sole system. The iner sole is a semi flexible fiberglass platform that allows the foot to have some flexibility at the ball of the foot where the foot tends to swell and typically hot spots or numbness would occur. The inner sole is suspended over the outer rigid carbon sole. This system enables us to use an extremely stiff carbon outsole without sacrificing riding comfort. 
UPPER

Clarino Microfiber Upper. Lightweight, breathable and supple upper. Outlast temperature regylating heel and tongue liner. Internal Thermaform Carbon Fiber heel counter. the Internal heel counter is heat moldable carbon that gives the option to better customize the heel hold. A secure heel hold will stabilize the foot and eliminate heel slip. A stable foot allows for more power transfer and less fatigue. Form fitting the upper in combination with the dual BOA closure system insures that your foot will be secure without needing to over tighten the shoe. 
CLOSURE

Dual side mounted Push/Pull Li2 BOA Fit System with releasable lace guides. There is not one element that can take credit for shoe fit and more importantly fit does not always equal comfort. The dual BOA fit system is not unique within cycling, but rather how we use this idal system in conjunction with our in house design, development, pattern work, our world class shoe Last and selection of superior upper materials that make this system work and why Lake shoes are known across the world for being the best fitting and most comfortable high performance cycling shoes.
